This was not a voting with any outcome we knew we wanted. Both options have their advantages and challenges for us. But it was important for us to understand the real sentiments among active participants of the aviation market. Because for us these are the people who are called policy makers.
According to the results of two weeks of voting, the number of those who oppose the removal of articles from the https://blacklist.aero/ site turned out to be twice as high as those who would like the articles to be removed after the case itself is closed. Apparently, the fact that articles on BLACKLIST.AERO only appear on truly egregious cases of non-payment or fraud that outrage not only us, the Registry administration, but also more readers, plays a significant role here.
Well, the aviation community has spoken and BLACKLIST.AERO administration intends to follow the wishes of aviation market participants. We are also very grateful for the professional discussion and suggestions that were expressed in the comments to the voting.
We intend to follow the advice that received the most support and subsequently intend to mark all articles where cases have been successfully resolved with SETTLED AND CLOSED. As with the cases themselves, this will be done 90 days after the CASE HAS BEEN RESOLVED notification from a claimant is received.

Our public and paralegal actions have pinched the tail of the Russian airline ABAKAN AIR very hard. Judging by the efforts that this company began to make to counter the BLACKLIST.AERO, they began to "burn" there. Military contracts carried out by Abakan Air, which is under US sanctions, may be disrupted. Abakan management is furious.
The case of the company BAZE RESEARCH AND DATA SERVICES from Nigeria began quite ordinary. Everything indicated that another crook wanted to “leave the restaurant without paying the bill.” Even the fact that this crook turned out to be a fairly well-known businessman and politician in Nigeria Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed did not play any role - our registry is full of such high-ranking defaulters or outright scammers. For some reason, they believe that their financial situation and high social status in their own countries should somehow faze us and make us shut up. But, as you know, all this “mumbo jumbo” does not bother us at all.
Tonight, an aircraft IL-76TD with reg. number RA-76370 of ABAKAN AIR (PUMV FZE) arrived from Uganda to OMDW/Dubai Al Maktoum Airport. This company is a defaulter, against which a case has been created in the Global Aviation Register of Defaulter companies BLACKLIST.AERO. Claim amount is USD 1,037,841.60
For almost a year now, the BLACKLIST.AERO administration has had information about a significant part of Abdullah Al-Sayed’s assets, which he acquired with the money stolen from NEXUS FLIGHT OPERATIONS creditors. However, the information we obtained was kept away from the public. Instead of making it public, we decided to pass on all the information we had to the trustee Jumana Majdi Qutub in Saudi Arabia, who is searching for NEXUS assets for subsequent compensation of losses to the creditors of this company.
